What gets checked
SPF
The list of servers allowed to send email for your domain. Missing or broken SPF means anyone can impersonate you, and receivers know it.
DKIM
A cryptographic signature on your outgoing mail proving it wasn't tampered with. Without it, DMARC can't do its job properly.
DMARC
The policy telling the world's inboxes what to do when a message fails the checks: deliver it anyway, junk it, or reject it, and who to tell about it.
Reputation
Whether your domain or server IPs appear on the spam blocklists receivers consult, including Spamhaus, the one that matters most.
Since 2024, Google and Yahoo require these records from anyone sending meaningful volume. If your invoices, quotes, or newsletters have started landing in junk, this is usually why.
